I’ll be honest, I was dreading this appointment because during the last two visits I had at this practice, the hygienist was unfeeling and completely uncommunicative. This visit was different. Mandy was so kind and friendly. She took the time to speak to me and included me as an important part of my oral health care routine. Every hygienist should be trained in bed side manner by her…. I was in town for the week, and had a front veneer pop off my tooth on my first evening in town. I had no idea who to call or what to do. My daughter is attending Vanderbilt, so I went to their parent's FB group. Another parent had recommended Gorham & Ammarell for their child's tooth emergency. I paged the doctor who called me back within 2 minutes. I explained my situation, and he said he would see me the next morning. Dr. Gorham fixed my issue first thing the next morning. I can't thank him enough for resolving an issue of someone that isn't even their patient. I highly recommend them for anyone local in need of a dentist. If they treat their non-patients this well, I can't imagine how dedicated they are to their own patients.

I had been going to this practice for years but after accidentally missing an appointment, I stopped going to regular 6-month dental hygiene check-ups for a few years. When I called to schedule an appointment for a little tooth pain last week, they were able to fit me in for an exam and a hygiene check up on the same day with only a week between my call and my appointment. When I attended my appointments today, no one shamed me for not getting cleanings done in so long. That's one thing I love about this practice! I felt bad that I had done it, but the fact that no one "punished" me for it was such a relief. I also want to note that I wore a KN95 mask to my appointment to protect my health due to being especially susceptible to terrible cases of respiratory infections. Because it's 2024, I've long stopped expecting to see medical staff wearing masks or respirators. Nonetheless, when I went to my tooth exam today, my dentist came in wearing an N95 mask. I don't know if that's what he usually does, or if he was notified that I was wearing one too and so donned a respirator to keep me safe. Whatever the reason, I want to express how grateful I am that he did so. I can't even count on my primary medical care provider to mask around me, so to see my dentist do it profoundly moved me. I couldn't tell if it was Dr Gorham or Dr Ammarell from my vantage point in the exam chair, so I'll settle by thanking them both. Thank you, Dr Gorham and Dr Ammarell and your staff for making me feel so comfortable!

At one time or another, I have used almost all the services provided: cleaning, x-rays, fillings and crowns. With all the work done, there were no complications. It was fixed and stayed fixed. Of course, I am but a single observer and therefore not representative. I am describing my experience. If someone does good work, I feel motivated to publicly say so. I know when I do good work; I like for it to be noticed. On the other hand, I hope this review does not encourage more new patients than the office is capable of accommodating.

I was in town for the week, and had a front veneer pop off my tooth on my first evening in town. I had no idea who to call or what to do. My daughter is attending Vanderbilt, so I went to their parent's FB group. Another parent had recommended Gorham & Ammarell for their child's tooth emergency. I paged the doctor who called me back within 2 minutes. I explained my situation, and he said he would see me the next morning. Dr. Gorham fixed my issue first thing the next morning. I had been going to this practice for years but after accidentally missing an appointment, I stopped going to regular 6-month dental hygiene check-ups for a few years. When I called to schedule an appointment for a little tooth pain last week, they were able to fit me in for an exam and a hygiene check up on the same day with only a week between my call and my appointment. When I attended my appointments today, no one shamed me for not getting cleanings done in so long. That's one thing I love about this practice! I felt bad that I had done it, but the fact that no one "punished" me for it was such a relief. I also want to note that I wore a KN95 mask to my appointment to protect my health due to being especially susceptible to terrible cases of respiratory infections. Because it's 2024, I've long stopped expecting to see medical staff wearing masks or respirators. Nonetheless, when I went to my tooth exam today, my dentist came in wearing an N95 mask. I don't know if that's what he usually does, or if he was notified that I was wearing one too and so donned a respirator to keep me safe. Whatever the reason, I want to express how grateful I am that he did so. I can't even count on my primary medical care provider to mask around me, so to see my dentist do it profoundly moved me. I couldn't tell if it was Dr Gorham or Dr Ammarell from my vantage point in the exam chair, so I'll settle by thanking them both. Thank you, Dr Gorham and Dr Ammarell and your staff for making me feel so comfortable!

I have used this dental office for more than 20 years because once I find what I like, I do not leave. At one time or another, I have used almost all the services provided: cleaning, x-rays, fillings and crowns. With all the work done, there were no complications. It was fixed and stayed fixed. Of course, I am but a single observer and therefore not representative. I am describing my experience. If someone does good work, I feel motivated to publicly say so.
